On my F11 button on my lap top there is s symbol that looks like a calculator. If you hold FN and hit F11 then it turns on the light Number Lock keys that may be over your letters…just be sure the hit FN + F11 again to shut it back off.

It wasn’t working for me on my laptop either, until I changed the font. I have it on Arial now and all of the symbols show. Only ? I have is how do you get the other characters they tell you can show up on FB? They show a pic of a shooting star, but no “alt + a #” to show how to get it. When I copy and Paste the symbol, it just shows up as a letter.

Why won’t those work on AOL in writing an email? They work on Outlook Express, and in Word….but not on AOL all you get is a ? ? ?

Have a Dell with Windows 7 and no NumLk button at all, no right number keys, only number keys on upper keyboard…
The Alt key or Fn + Alt doesn’t work, I tried combinations of it…
doesn’t work for me… is there a way around this? I can cut and paste, but that’s too much hassle… :( there has to be an easier way?

I have pressed the alt key 1- and nothing happens. 1- won’t print on my comment while pressing alt button. If I release alt button 1- prints but no icon. H E L P M E !!

if your having troubles just hi-lite the character u want and copy and paste it
